Cielito Lindo was created from a longing , a longing for the Mexico we carry in our hearts. The Mexico of vibrant markets, late-night tacos, music echoing through the streets, and kitchens filled with love. We didn’t want to open just another Mexican restaurant. We wanted to build a place where people could feel the soul of Mexico the moment they walked in.

For us, authenticity is not a trend. It is a responsibility.

That is why many of our ingredients are brought directly from Mexico. From spices and sweets to the little touches that make each recipe feel honest, we take pride in using what reminds us of home. We work closely with suppliers who understand our vision, because flavor is memory…. and memory deserves to be treated with care.

But Cielito Lindo goes far beyond the kitchen.

Every detail in our space is intentional. The colors that surround you, the music that flows through the room, even the subtle aromas in the air are carefully chosen to transport you. We want you to forget the cold Vancouver rain outside and feel, even for a moment, like you are walking into a warm night in Guadalajara or Mexico City.

This is not a casual dinner. This is a journey.

Some nights are meant for quiet romance candlelight, deep conversations, and a table for two that feels like the whole world. Other nights turn into unexpected celebrations, where laughter grows louder, glasses are raised higher, and the night carries on longer than planned. On Sundays, families gather, stories are shared, and traditions are created around our tables.
